Today, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) selected Tony Clark as the group’s next Executive Director. America’s Power released the following statement by Michelle Bloodworth, President and CEO, in response:
America’s Power congratulates Tony Clark on being selected as NARUC’s next Executive Director. Mr. Clark’s deep policy expertise and decades of experience, as well as his support for an ‘all-of-the-above’ energy strategy, make him an ideal leader for the organization as utilities grapple with new and pressing challenges to our electricity grid.
We also wish to thank outgoing Executive Director Greg White for his many years of service and leadership, which have been instrumental to NARUC’s effectiveness for the last nine years. We have full confidence that Mr. Clark will carry on this legacy and affirm NARUC’s critical role in preserving a reliable and affordable supply of electricity for all Americans.
