Washington — Today, America’s Power (ACCCE) announced that Jeff Bloczynski will serve as the trade organization’s new Vice President of Research and Analysis to help develop policy positions and advocacy strategies.
Jeff Bloczynski, is the founder and Managing Director of Mosaic Economic Consulting, a firm that provides services to the energy, commodity, and financial industries. During his time at Mosaic, he has focused on providing clear economic analysis of energy markets to clients including commercial energy firms, law firms and energy policy advocates.
Before founding Mosaic, Bloczynski also served as the lead economist at America’s Power, where he was responsible for conducting policy studies of the impacts of regulations and market dynamics on the electric power sector as well as the broader economy. His career also includes time spent as a senior consultant at NERA Economic Consulting where he was an energy economist and industry analysist for the electric power, natural gas and environmental sectors as well as with PG&E National Energy Group where he oversaw modeling and analysis for one of the largest merchant energy companies in the country.

Bloczynski will focus on federal and state regulations and policies including wholesale market reforms, environmental regulations such as the Affordable Clean Energy rule and the New Source Performance Standards, and technologies to support the coal fleet of the future.
